Desperation is what made this woman an EASY target, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
A woman, Chiu, whose husband had an affair, believed in the scams of how a scam artist can use rituals to help her save her marriage, she’d gone out, in the typhoon, to sort through the trash, to find disposed used tampons of other women’s, to offer it to the spirits, she’d paid $120,000N.T. for it; Chen’s boyfriend had a change of heart, she’d asked the same group of individuals to perform magic, she couldn’t pay the $100,000N.T. that it’d cost, so, she’d taken photos of herself nude, send it to the scam artists, as an offering, so she could get the option of paying off the fees by installment, both women were scammed.
The two women sued the scam artists in Taipei and Taichung, the detectives found, that the scam artists were the couple, Tsai and Chen who set up the website of “Hibiscus Magic”, the Taipei District Court found Tsai guilty of scamming for money, gave him a one year, three months jail sentence, and gave Chen a nine months sentence, but Chen can pay a fine and escape jail, she could also go for an appeal.
Because the debated “Hibiscus Magic” website is still operating to date, the judge especially wrote in the verdict that, in the case, Hsu had falsified himself as a priest, and that the D.A. should examine, if he’d collaborated with the two plaintiffs.
The verdict pointed out, that Tsai, Chen, and Hsu agreed, to use the master whom Hsu apprenticed under from Yunnan, the Iron Military Master, used the Hmong methods of exorcism, to get more clients, claimed that they’re “the only true kind of Hmong methods”, “the Couple’s wellbeing Voodoo Magic”, then, used enticing language in the ads that appealed to those who had lost in love, for them to pay high amounts of money to change their lucks.
Chiu, because her husband was having an affair, and wouldn’t return home, in June of 2012, she’d found the self-claimed “Master Brother Lu”, Tsai, and Chen who claimed herself to be “Master Sister Hibiscus”, to burn the paper strips, Tsai and Chen told Chiu, that in order for the rituals to be more effective, there must be woman’s menstrual blood, Chiu didn’t question them, immediately, she’d gone to Danshui, and texted the “Master Sister”, “there’s a typhoon, and all the shops had closed here, there’s only McDonald’s and the station open”, but, Chiu still ended up, getting divorced.
The woman, Chen, whose boyfriend fell out of love with her, in July of 2013, she’d found the group, and asked to pay $100,000N.T., but she couldn’t manage to pay them off all at once, Tsai told Chen, that after he’d done the offerings, he’d become too weak, that if he didn’t get paid in the fee in its entirety, then, those “spirits from high up” would be dissatisfied, that she must take nude photos of herself, to satisfy the spirits from below, and so, Chen had, LINED her nude photos, and videos of herself naked to Tsai, as an “installment plan”, if Chen sent the pictures late, then, Tsai would rush her, “Where’s your assignment for today?”
The Collectivist Courts believed, that the man in question, Hsu had a stroke three years ago, and claimed that he hadn’t been able to perform the rituals, the judge found Tsai and Chen guilty of fraud based off of this, and, took into considerations that Tsai said, “Voodoo is just like how you’d gone to the temples to get cleansed or have your fortunes told, if the fortune teller was off, is it also fraud?”, Chen settled with the victim, and so, the sentence was heavier for one person, and lighter for the other.
Wow, this just shows how people will GRAB at ANYTHING, when they’re having a run of bad luck, or when they’d lost in love, and this, is how desperation CAN make you the victims of a scam, so, don’t get too desperate, and, start using your BRAINS, to think about is what they (whoever they may be???) are saying logical………
