This is, getting REALLY, serious here!!!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Asia University’s “Asian Online Addiction Prevention Center” surveyed and found, that close to twenty percent of middle and elementary school students have cell phone addiction problems, a lot of the children were merely modeling their parents’ behaviors in sliding their cell phones.

Another worth mentioning finding is, that the more success in advocating the digitization of the distant regions, the environment becomes high-risk for children to get addicted to technologies.

The observations made by the universities found, that the younger parents are addicted to the usage of internet, in public spaces, we can often see these parents, with their heads lowered, to their cellphones, texting, and chatting, while ignoring their own children who were sitting right beside them; some parents, feared that the kids would get too raucous or misbehaved, they’d handed their cell phones or iPad right away to their kids.

The Online Addiction Prevention Center stated, that addiction to online is because of heavy usage, causing obsessive behaviors, for instance, you knew that you need to limit the hours you spend online, but, you couldn’t control the impulses that makes you want to use the internet when you’re not supposed to, causing you to spend more and more hours online, to the point that it’d affected your interpersonal relationships, and affected your lifestyle, and even, your health.

The lecturing professor, Huei-Jen Ke believed, that in order to prevent hi-tech and online addictions, then, you must “intentionally” set up a healthier environment which you are allowed to use the internet, couples, parents and children should all set up some “non-internet related activities”, and manage to feel stress relief, a sense of belonging, a sense of achievement, and a sense of meaning, from doing these activities.

And so, the key to quitting this online and hi-tech product addiction is still by self-control, but, because addiction to hi-tech products is not as serious as drug addictions or alcohol addiction that, is why it’s still NOT getting as much attention, but, with the advances in technology, I’m sure, that this will become a BIG problem for future generations, especially when people can’t control and limit their time on the high-tech inventions.

and no, still NOT my comic!
