The death of a child, SPLASHED, across the front page news, what’s the purpose, you wondered, as you read further on, you’d learned, that it was, a story, of immigrants who were trying to escape persecution from their own country, that, was why they got on the boat, to float to a better place…
The death of a child, SPLASHED, across the front page news, don’t know how many times we’d all seen that, and, at first, we’d felt, somewhat sad, because of how young the life that was lost was, but, as the times of these “encounters” increased, you’d slowly gotten, numbed, and now, you don’t even FLIP the front page sections, you just, go STRAIGHT, to the stars and movies, or the classifieds section.
The death of a child, SPLASHED across the front page, what, is the purpose of this? Is it, to get our empathy up? Is it, to make us realize, how LUCKY we are? Is it, to initiate that GUILT inside of us all, so, we’d be, more than likely, to help someone out in need, the next time we see someone who’s in need? What, would be the purpose of this? I wonder………
