After Retirement, Discovering a Never-Ending Sky of the Elderly Years

A brand new life has begun, after you retired, translated…

After retirement, the load from work had been, lifted off of my shoulders, leaving the workforce, it’s the beginning of a brand new stage in my life, time is now, up to me to spend, I’m like a baby bird, excited, about this new world I’d found myself in.

First, I’d gone for a health check, and, I’d walked all the way home, there was, parks with everything, a lake, small mounds in them, floral marketplace, shopping strips, the display windows, the marketplaces, the post office, schools, cafés, and busses that kept rolling down the streets, MRT stations, and people who passed me by seemed to all be, smiling at me too, this, was just, from all around me, how come I’d never discovered this, that there are, things of beauty all around, I feel more than blessed here.

My husband was also glad, to take up ballroom dancing with me, gotten himself involved in choir, electronic piano lessons, yoga classes, computer courses, and art lessons, etc., etc., etc., to get himself more socialized, to meet new friends, like getting a new chance, to be younger again.  Life begins at age seventy, I must start off on a new foot, the sunset is very beautiful, do what makes me happy, fulfill the dreams I’d not have the time for, the skies of old age, the possibilities are limitless!

So, you’re able to be this fulfilled after retirement because you are keeping yourselves busy, staying connected with your former acquaintances, living an active lifestyle, and that, is why, you will have a good retirement, and grow old gracefully too.
