A Government Worker Was Waiting for the Bus and Got Punched in the Eyes by Someone He Didn’t Even Know, Became Blind

A government office worker, Ni was waiting for the bus after work, he was called to the side of the bus station by a man, Chang, Chang punched Ni’s face hard, and managed to break his left eye ball; the Shihlin District Courts found Chang guilty of assault, and gave him a five-year-ten-months jail sentence.

The twenty-four year-old Chang worked as a chef and a mechanic from before, Ni, the government office worker told, last year on August 15^th, as he was getting off work, was waiting for the bus at the plaza, Chang called out to him, wanted him to “come over to the side, to have a little chat”, he thought that he had something to discuss about work, he’d replied, “Let’s talk about it at work”, and, he was, beaten up.

Chang had used brute force, not only did he break Ni’s glasses, he’d also busted Ni’s left eye, Ni was in pain, he fell to the ground, calling out in pain, Chang turned and ran away.  Tsai, a bystander saw this, chased Chang down, and Chang made it all the way into the trees, and saw that there was NOWHERE he could hide, he’d told Tsai, “okay, fine, I’ll turn myself in then.”, Tsai wrestled with him, and managed to take him into the Harbor Police Station.  Although Ni was rushed to the MacKay Memorial for emergency treatment, but, he’d still become blind on his left sided, and could only wear a prosthetic now.

As Chang was arrested, he kept claiming that he was mentally ill.  The judge believed, that without provocation, Chang started punching someone out, and, he’d used such brute force, and broke the man’s eye socket, eyeball, and glasses, it’s clearly to see, that “he’d wanted to seriously injure the other person with one punch”.  The Collectivist Courts believed, that after the incident, Chang escaped, and, when he couldn’t avoid getting chased down by a bystander, he’d told the man that he was going to turn himself in, it’d shown that he was clear in thought, that he was not affected by a mental condition.

And so, this man is apparently having a BAD day, and just took it out on someone he doesn’t even know, and the man who got punched was simply, at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and, the reason for this perpetrator, using such brute force is still unknown, but at least, he’s being punished for hurting an innocent man.
