A man, Hsu in Chiayi, suspected that his ex-wife before the divorce had started seeing another man, early yesterday morning, he was suspected of strangling his ex to death, he’d told the police, that she’d taunted him, for not making enough money, for not holding a stable job, that, was why he’d gotten furious, and killed her by accident, but, he’d waited until the early morning hours to call the ambulance, to lift his already dead ex-wife to the hospitals, and turned himself into the police, claimed, “I didn’t know it was this serious!”, the police booked him based off of murder.
The police investigated, Hsu (age 32) had priors in drug, lived in Dongshi District, and works as a carpenter. Last year, he’d met the thirty-one year-old Chen who works at a drink stand online, after they’d dated, Chen got pregnant, and had a child, they’d just registered for marriage this January; but, after they were married, they’d started arguing, last month, they’d filed for divorce, and, their child was taken care of by Hsu’s mother.
Two days ago, Chen asked Hsu to go with her to visit their son in Chiayi, Hsu took Chen out to the piers to sightsee, then, to a motel to rest up, Hsu had even started using drugs in the rooms. Later on, as Hsu was driving Chen to Taichung to sightsee, the car broke down, and the car was towed back to Chiayi, the two of them arrived at home yesterday past midnight.
Hsu told the police, after they’d returned home, they’d started arguing in the bedroom, he’d questioned that Chen was already seeing someone else as they were filing for divorce, and his ex-wife taunted him “You don’t work, you don’t make enough money”, he got angered, and started chokeholding Chen’s neck, asked her, “Am I not kind to you?”
Hsu said, as he’d strangled his ex-wife and continued questioning her, she’d replied back to him, in a hoarse voice, then, he’d flipped over, fell asleep, he didn’t know that the outcome would be so awful. When he woke up at six, he found Chen’s fingers had turned black, and was without sign of life, that, was when he’d called up the police, but, as the paramedics arrived, lividity had set in, and Chen is clearly dead, they couldn’t resuscitate her.
Chen’s older brother rushed to Dong-Shih Subprecinct to understand just what had happened, he’d told, at the very start, he was against his younger sister seeing this man, and had heard his sister complained of domestic violence, he hoped, that the police can really look into the matter.
So, this is precisely W-H-Y, you should NEVER go out with someone you’d broken up with, because, although you may think that you are still trying to be friends with the person, the other person may misread you as wanting to get back together, but, you didn’t, and, that usually doesn’t end well like this case here.
