This is, brought to you by, the technological advances, the internet, as well as OTHER forms of social networking???
In a world where we don’t interact face-to-face, how, will we know one another? I mean, sure, you say that you’re a professor of blah-blah-blah, but, how do I know for sure, that that, is the TRUTH about you? I don’t!
And, I can claim to be a dude (which I’m totally NOT!), looking for some “commitment” (uh, yeah, right!!!), and, because you and I aren’t interacting face-to-face, we don’t know the TRUTH about one another, and that, is the problem of modern day interactions, too many “things” are being shared across the screens, and, things had become, impersonal too.
In a world where we don’t interact face-to-face, there’s that lack of personal connection with someone you’re “talking” to, like those customer service hotlines that just keeps on routing and rerouting you to the “next available customer service representative” and “please dial * to hear ALL the options again”, etc., etc., etc.
In a world where we don’t interact face-to-face, there’s NO way to know W-H-O we’re talking to, even IF the person we’re interacting with says that they’re whatever or whoever, but, H-O-W, do we, know for sure? We don’t, do we? Nope!
That, is why I prefer to INTERACT with those in my close vicinity, like around me? And I still don’t “exchange” anything OVER the internet with anybody here!
and no, still NOT my picture!
