It’s still ALL for S-H-O-W if you ask me, and, here comes the “punch line”: WHO asked Y-O-U!!! Exactly.
When the accused rapist breaks down on the stand, could it be, that his GUILTY conscience finally got caught UP with him, and he’s finally confronted, with the consequences of his own bad actions toward another human being? Or, could it be, that he’s merely, FAKING his remorse, so, the judge and the jury (if that’s the system???) will see, that hey, this defendant still has an INKLING of humanity, so, let’s NOT give him too harsh a sentence. Either way, it’s still, “after the fact”.
When a rapist breaks down on the stand, that means, that s/he is finally, confronted, with the seriousness of the extent of her/his FUCKED up behavior toward another human being, and, that guilty conscience will forever, be tagging along, right behind her/his tails.
When a rapist breaks down on the stand, WHO the hell you kidding? You think that’s remorse s/he’s showing to the outside world, the public who came to watch her/him hang for her/his bad actions? When a rapist breaks down on the stand, it’s still ALL for “show”, after all, that rapist had been really good at, “covering” her/himself up, s/he’d gone, unnoticed, in her/his previous bad behaviors, it’s just that this time, s/he got unlucky, and was caught red-handed, and now, s/he is trying, to weasel her/his way out of being severely punished, but hey, that’s just my take on the matter, feel free to draw your own conclusions…
