When Education Became a Clone of the Caste Systems, View from Belgium

This is how other parts of the world is doing it, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

Although France had long, done away with the monarchy, but, the gaps between the rich and the poor sparked up debate before the schools started in September again; the France College Students League recently published statistics showed, that in recent years, more students are applying to be in college, but, the school didn’t ask for as many students to apply, and, the process of deciding who gets into college became more and more strict, as a result, the children from well-to-do backgrounds gets into colleges easier.

In an analysis of wages, it’d shown, that the students who earned top wages are mostly from high-end business schools, engineer departments of famous school systems, some of the famous private academies, in the past five years, had already increased the tuition by nearly fifty percent, but, because there’s a limit to the number of students being accepted, the students from rich backgrounds are fighting hard to get in, and, it would be even harder, for the kids from average income families to get in.

Similar situation is also happening in England.  Recently, the English media made a list of the top ten namely private institution, as well as their well-known alumni, the prime minister, Cameron, and multiple members of the parliament all graduated from the most well-known Eton College, it’d already sparked the debates, the wife of the prime minister, the noble, Samantha, and Duchess Kate, are also alumni of the Marlboro School.

And so, this, is really bad, because if the education system became a byproduct of the caste systems, then, that would mean, that only those from high up backgrounds CAN get a good education, and, those of us who are that well off won’t get the opportunity to, and so, we’ll all, get stuck in that vicious cycle.
