An eleven-year-old girl, in the diary exchange she’d made with a classmate has a picture of a girl, naked, on her knees, crying, it’d made her stepfather, Lee get charged, Lee claimed that his stepdaughter was unhappy at how he’d disciplined her, and wanted to take revenge. At the trials, the young girl’s statements became inconsistent, and the Hsinbei District Courts believed, that there wasn’t enough evidence against the stepfather, they’d found him not guilty.
The District Court investigated, the young girl’s mother married again in 2010 to Lee, after they wed, they’d had two sons together, the family of five lived together. Last year, in the girl’s diary exchange with her classmate, she’d talked about, “Dad had already raped me for three years…I hope you all don’t single me out!”, claimed that one evening, in March of 2012, her stepfather forcibly removed her clothes in the living room, and raped her, back, then, she “felt pain, and wanted to push him away”, but she’d put up with it, and didn’t fight back. Last March, the stepfather too the advantage of the time when her mother was out, and fondled and kissed her again.
And, on her diary, the young girl even drew the picture of a girl without her shirt, with her hands clenched, kneeling on the ground, crying, like she was disclosing the secrets of her life. But she hoped that her classmate who’d had her diary not tell anybody about this, otherwise, “Dad will divorce mom, and we will become poor!”
After the classmate consoled the girl over and over again, the girl disclosed to her teacher about what her stepfather did. The school notified the authorities, the girl was placed in protective custody, after she was taken to the doctors, they’d found tears in her hymen. The Hsinbei District Attorney’s Office believed that Lee was involved, and last year, he was prosecuted for forced sexual behaviors with children younger than fourteen, sexual molestations, as well as some other charges.
Lee insisted on not having raped his stepdaughter, said that the girl was unhappy at how he’d punished her, and disliked the fact that her mother remarried, and so, she’d made up this story, as a revenge against him. And, two years ago, while she was riding her bicycle, she’d fallen, there was bloodstains on her panties, and that might have been when the tear in her hymen happened.
As the court was in session, the child’s statements became inconsistent, and there were, multiple places that were doubtful, and, after an examination at the hospital, they’d confirmed that she didn’t show any signs of post-traumatic stress. Even though Lee failed his polygraph, but, because there wasn’t enough evidence, the judge found him not guilty, but the D.A. can still go for an appeal.
Wow, just because there’s NOT enough physical evidence, that doesn’t mean that the child was not traumatized, but, the judge went by the physical evidence, as there wasn’t ENOUGH to convict the stepfather of rape or sexual molestations, so, this loser got off easy.
