It’s been ten years since my mother had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, not only was ALL of the memories she had of her former years completely deleted, she’d lost the ability for speech as well, and her caretaker can only understand how my mother’s feeling, happy, sad, uncomfortable, angry, etc., etc., etc., by her facial expressions.
Whenever my mother started frowning, couldn’t sleep easily, plus running a fever, I knew that my mother was ill. But, where does it feel bad, which kinds of doctors should I take her to see, my mother could no longer say, and, I didn’t know what to do either.
Recalling the amazing woman of the Tang Dynasty, Ying-Niang Nieh, since she was growing up, she’d been excellent at martial arts, one day, in order to save her master, she’d shape-shifted into an insect and, hid inside of her master’s stomach, waited until the master had beaten his opponent, she’d leapt out of her master’s mouth, becoming human again, told him, “It’s all right now!”
Because of this, every time when I’m stumped, I’d hoped, that I could have this ability, becoming an insect, get inside of my mother’s stomach, and, check out her insides myself, and find out what was off with her systems, and, I’d used my powers, and kill off all those bacteria and viruses that were there, and, waited until I’d beaten them all, then, I shall leap out of my mother’s mouth, becoming human again, and, told what I saw inside of her to her doctor, so the doctor can use the right medications, to help absolve my mother’s illnesses.
If I can really get this ability, not only would I be able to quickly help my mother find out her problems, I can also help all those patients who can’t tell their doctors what was the matter with them, so they’d all get better too.
And so, this, is someone’s dreams or delusions (whichever way you want to see it as), of becoming a bug, and get into her/his mother’s stomach, to find out what the matter was, because the mother is demented, and, she’d lost her way of communicating with the outside world, and, as dementia progresses, the family members will have even harder a time, letting the doctors know, what, exactly is the matter with the person, and so, this, would be a great superpower to have!
