Child, Do You Still Remember the Looks of Your Father as You Grow Up

From online, translated…

Could it be, subconsciously, the wishes for their sons, how the fathers always wanted the children to be taller, to see farther than they’re able to…

So, it’d be, extremely easy, for the photographers to capture, the moment of a father, with a child on his shoulders, along with that feeling of bliss that comes with how you’re the center of your dads’ universes?  Child, do you remember how when your father was still able to lift you high up above his shoulders, to the way he looks right now, gray, weathered, withered and old.  How much time had passed to get to this precise moment?  Child, do you still remember the footprints that your father walked, from when you were still quite young, and he’d lifted you up over his shoulders, to the way he is right now, withered, frail, and gray?

It is said, that daughters are fathers’ lovers from a past life, daughters are always going to be the apples of their fathers’ eyes for sure.

Do you still remember, child, for your very first steps, your first “daddy!”, your first trip and fall, first day of school, your first love, first lost love, how your dad felt upset, happy, relieved?

When you’re too busy, too frustrated, too angry, felt that no one in the world gives a damn, child!

Do you still recall, that as you were growing up, your father took the time, to read to you, to accompany you whenever he’d found the time, teaching you, about this big ol’ world?

Once, he’d believed, that he had, passed through his own childhood stages, without knowing, that with your birth, he was taken aback, into his childhood years.  He’d started, talking in incomplete words, used sounds, returned back to the playgrounds, this is, the passage of a “father”…

This, is how a boy becomes a man, from being so innocent, so young, so inexperienced, but, the moment you’d become a parent, you’d become, more matured, because there’s now this young infant that’s in your arms, needing you to look after her/him, the rites of passage, from a boy, into manhood!
