The U.S. confirmed, that the fifty-nine year-old man, John Russel Houser who’d started shooting at the public at random in the Big 16 Theatres of Lafayette, Indiana is confirmed to have a mental disorder, and was once admitted into a mental institution for treatment purposes.
The documents from the court stated that Houser had just moved to Lafayette just this month, had been arrested multiple times by the police, and had a record of “abnormal adverse behaviors”. Those who knew Houser, said that he was easily angered, very opinionated, enjoyed starting verbal altercation with anyone. Back in 1989, Houser was accused to telling someone to set an attorney’s office on fire.
Since the early 1990s, Houser had been known for his peculiar behaviors, back then, he was even invited to the local television stations as a guest too, and debated with the liberal Democrats with the position of a conservative Republican too. The television show host, Floyd who’d been hosting the program for over two decades stated, that Houser’s statements were very rash, like how he’d proposed that the abortion clinics used violent ways to help women abort their fetuses, and feared that the military was taking over the government.
His family in Alabama said, that they all feared Houser very much, and managed to hide his guns from him, and sent him into an institution for treatment purposes. Back in 2008, his wife, daughter, along with other members of his family filed for a restraining order against him with the courts.
And so, something IS seriously wrong with this man’s mind all right, because you just don’t go off, and start SHOOTING at the crowd, and, maybe, he felt that he was doing the world justice, by cleaning up the population, and this man DOES have a history of mental illness, it’s just that he wasn’t treated completely, that, was why and how this tragedy happened, and, with an unstable personality like this, you NEVER know what can set him off!
