Remember the case with Jie Cheng??? And it’s still happening AGAIN, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
Last May Jie Cheng murdered people on the Banciao-Nangang Line of the MRT in Taipei, yesterday, blood was once more, spilled, in Zhongshan Station! A man, Yen-Jun Kuo yesterday evening, rode down the escalator from Exit #4 of Zhongshan Station, he’d stabbed the passengers who was right in front of him, with a fruit knife on their backs, four passengers were injured, and someone saw, and started screaming, “He HAS a KNIFE!” The MRT attendants received the reports, and were able to subdue Kuo, and as he was pinned down, he’d stated, “I lost my job, I’m pissed off!”
The police investigated, that yesterday was also Kuo’s twenty-seventh birthday, he’d chosen his birthday to commit the crimes, after he’d hacked someone in Zhongshan Station, he’d gotten down on one knee in front of the customer’s service desks for awhile, waiting to get caught by the workers, and, after the police finished taking his statements, and on his way to the investigative units, he was smiling, and the crowd started beating him up, he’d remained silent, kept his smiles.
Yen-Jun Kuo (age 27), yesterday at 8:58p.m., exited out of the fourth exit of Zhongshan Station via the escalators, he’d used a sharpened knife, and slashed the person who was standing in front of him, causing the victim to cry out in pain, but Kuo acted as if nothing had happened, gotten down the escalator, turned right, walked toward the exits. A person who was close by realized that something wasn’t right, started screaming, “Someone’s hurt over here!” “He’s got a knife!” Immediately thereafter, Kuo was subdued by the station workers and the security guard, he’d remained silent.
The Taipei Fire Department received the calls, immediately, they’d sent out an ambulance. The injured woman, Chuang (age 31, with a knife would on her left clavicle), Wei (age 37, an injury on the left shoulder), a woman, Liu (age 37, wound on the back), and another woman, Ma (age 50, wound on back), they were all rushed to the MacKay Memorial Hospital in Taipei, and none of them are in life-threatening danger.
The police checked, that Yen-Jun Kuo has priors in use of amphetamine, he’d told them he’d been unemployed long-term, was in a foul mood, that was why he’d started hacking people. Yesterday Kuo shoplifted a knife from a super convenience store, and, immediately, he’d gone to the MRT station, and started stabbing people at random.
Kuo told the police, that his parents were divorced, he’d once gone with his mother to Japan to live, but, his mother died of pancreatic cancer, he’d lost the one he could rely on in Japan, so he’d returned to Taiwan, stayed with his aunt on Hejiang Street. Last weekend, he’d had a verbal altercation with his aunt, and left home out of anger, he’d been wandering in the parks these couple of days, and, found that life wasn’t going his way at all. Kuo was once arrested on drug use, he’d claimed that when he used, he’d “start hallucinating”; and the officers asked him if there was any hallucination before he’d started hacking people at random, he’d told them “no”.
A female witness, Chen said that the perpetrator was stabbing someone on the way, riding down the escalator, back then, she was just about to exit out of the MRT station, when she saw the shirt of the man who was in front of the perpetrator torn, there was a deep cut, she was shocked, and started screaming, “Someone’s hurt”, and, when she looked closer, there were MORE than one person who was injured. Ms. Chen told, that other than her, there was another woman screaming, and, after the public heard that someone’s hacking others with a knife, they’d all run off, there was a kid, wiping away his tears, and told the adult he was with, “he said he was going to become another Jie Cheng.”
And in this case, this PSYCHO was caught, before FURTHER damages, and, this is just, another NUT that CRACKED, because he was dissatisfied with his own life, he took it out on someone else unrelated to him, someone who was a stranger, who’d done NOTHING to him whatsoever, and this is still due to the sickness of the human mind, and gladly, this time, the diffusion of responsibility AND the bystander effect didn’t “work” properly!
