Setting a very BAD example for the kids there, from the Newspapers, translated…

A three-year-old girl two days ago, followed her aunt, Tsai, happily around a super convenience store as they shopped around, but, Tsai had shoplifted some beers, as well as lollipops, soft candies, for her niece to have, the store’s clerk discovered what she was doing, immediately called the police, the police booked her based off of theft, and the young girl was sent home with other members of the family.

The aunt was helping out with babysitting, but took her along to shoplift, the woman didn’t know how she was to answer to her older sister, she was in deep regrets, started crying. “I’m so sorry! I’d become an AWFUL example for my own niece!”, after the police checked the records, they’d found, that this was Tsai’s first offense, she’d claimed that she’d forgotten to bring the money, that, was why she’d decided to shoplift, she regretted being a bad example for her niece, promised the police she won’t do it again, as she cried.

The police investigated and found, that early in the morn, two days ago, Tsai took along her three-year-old niece, placed five cans of beer, four bags of soft candy, and a lollipop into her shopping bag, without paying for the items at the counter, and just ran off. And, coincidentally, a patrol officer was close by, and the store clerk screamed, “Someone’s stealing!”, the police arrested Tsai right at the scene, took the young child back to the police station as well.

Tsai was so worried she’d started crying, and the child was so scared that she’d become dumbfounded, she had NO clue what had just happened, just knew that her aunt was arrested, and started wailing at the subprecinct, the two of them cried hard. The female officer who was off-duty found out, quickly tried to soothe the child, took her to watch some cartoons, and, the child slowly calmed back down.

The police at first thought they were mother and daughter, feared that it was because of the household economics that she’d shoplifted. Later on, they’d found out, that the child was Tsai’s niece, and Tsai holds a normal job too, that the theft was committed, at the spur of the moment.

And so, this just shows, how easy it is, to SET a BAD example for the young, and, I’m sure, that this experience would’ve traumatized this young child, and it’s still due to the fact, that this woman believed she wasn’t going to get caught, which just tells you, to NOT do anything bad, because you WILL get C-A-U-G-H-T!
