The father was a drunk…took his child back home with him ten days ago, texted his separated wife to say he was sorry, the mother was brokenhearted…the dead body was placed in the plastic bag, she thought her daughter was still asleep.
The man, Chen in Hsinchu was suspected of suffocating his own one-year-old daughter with a towel, yesterday early morning, he’d dropped off his own dead daughter at the entry of his ex-wife’s place, texted his wife, asked for her forgiveness, then, was arrested, on his way to escaping. At first, Chen said that he was drunk, and didn’t know what had caused his own daughter to die, later on, he’d admitted to murdering her.
The police investigated, that the forty-one year-old Chen worked as a butcher at the markets, is a drunk. Afte4r his daughter was born, his wife and he argued often because of his drinking problem, the household economics, along with other issues, and Chen’s wife took their daughter to live with her own family. When Chen wasn’t drunk, he’d taken his wife and child out on trips.
On the fifth, Chen told his wife that he missed his daughter, took the infant home. Chen’s wife would visit her child from time to time, she was getting ready to take her daughter to get her shots on the twelfth, Chen told her she couldn’t, back then, the young child seemed fine.
Yesterday at around three in the morn, Chen wrapped his own daughter’s body with a black plastic bag, dropped the corpse off at his in-laws’ house, placed the body on the bench outside the entryway, then left, texted, “I’m sorry”, “I love you”, “I will do right by you and the baby”, then, he rode southward to his home in Tainan.
Yesterday morning when Chen’s younger brother headed out, he thought the baby was asleep on the bench, and, as he’d returned, he saw bubbles, coming out of the infant child’s nose, felt that something was awfully wrong, called the fire department, and, when the firefighters arrived, they’d found the young infant girl had already been dead a long time.
Yesterday at noon, the police caught Chen in Chiayi, as the police interrogated Chen, first, he’d claimed that he didn’t know what happened, that he was drunk, and when he woke up, he saw the child already dead, and didn’t know what had happened. As the police prodded, Chen finally admitted, that yesterday morn, he woke to his own daughter’s crying, that was why he’d muffled her up with a towel, then, covered her nose and mouth with his hand, hoping that she’d stopped crying, not knowing that it had caused his own child to die of suffocation.
After Chen suffocated his own young, he’d used a fruit knife to cut both his wrists, and his chest, then, he’d decided to hand the corpse of his young back to his wife so she could take care of it, and he’d ridden his motorcycle to his in-laws’ place. After the police interrogated him, they’d booked him on murder charges, sent him to the D.A.’s offices.
Chen’s wife told, that after they married, they’d fought endlessly over Chen’s drinking problems, as her daughter was born, she’d paid for the hospital bills, claimed that Chen was a good-for-nothing, doesn’t work to provide for his own young, is irresponsible. Early yesterday morn, when she received the text from him, she didn’t know what he meant, not knowing his own daughter was already murdered.
So we still have, a COWARD, he couldn’t take his own life, and so, he’d murdered his own young in brutality, and, you can blame it on the alcohol, but, that wouldn’t be the case here, because if he wasn’t violent to begin with, alcohol wouldn’t do ANYTHING to ruin his interactions with his own wife.
