A man with a handicapped manual on the evening of the twelfth, took a club and started assaulting two passersby on the streets at random, then, rode off on his motorcycle, the Shihlin Police Subprecinct sent a warrant to his house, and found, that on the day he’d committed the assault, he’d taken a flight to the U.S. the man’s mother made a statement yesterday, that her son was placed by her church, to a facility in the U.S. for his treatments, and that she guarantees that similar incidents will not occur again, that she apologizes, on her son’s behalf, for causing the scare in the public.
The police investigated, this man, (age 32), on the day of the assault, took a club, stood in front of the alleyway in Shihlin, first, he’d swung the club at a passerby, the passerby fell and dodged him, ran off in a panic, a minute later, a man, Chen, walked closer too, he’d used the baseball bat, and beaten Chen’s head hard, causing Chen to have laceration wounds on his head, and, after Chen went to the hospitals, he’d gone to the local subprecinct, to press charges.
And, although the attacker managed to place a white piece of paper on his motorcycle license plate, to try to cover up, but, there was an opening on the left front side of his motorcycle, the police spent three days, and chased the leads, reviewed all the surveillance tapes, and found that the man had parked his motorcycle in front of his residence in Da-Du Rd. of Beitou District, and after the police made sure of the man’s residence, yesterday, they took along a warrant to make the arrest, and found the motorcycle used in the crime, but weren’t able to discover the baseball bat used.
The man’s mother saw the police come, shook her head in disbelief, at how her son had committed a crime again. She said, on the night that he’d supposedly beaten the man, he’d taken a flight out, that day she was out, visiting a friend, and in the afternoon, she’d even phoned her son, to remind him to not miss his flight that evening, and that evening, her son was picked up by the members of the church, didn’t show any signs of abnormalities, him committing a crime was the last thing she’d expected. The police, in order to check out the mother’s story, asked for the surveillance footage from the airport, and confirmed that the man did leave on the eleven o’clock flight that evening.
Based off of understanding, the man had three records of assault, the mother kept cleaning up after him, and managed to pay a huge sum of money to the victims, and the mother also found, that medication didn’t help him at all, she sought out help from her church, the church officials suggested that she sent him to the related facilities for treatment, and because they’d book a ticket on the cheaper flights, the dates were set six months ago, and, him committing this crime that’s so violent wasn’t least expected.
The man’s mother promised, that after her son got treated and returned to normal, she will fly him back here, for the legal processes, and will settle with those whom he’d injured, the police is charging him based off of assault.
But, what ARE the chances, that this LOSER will be brought to justice? Very SLIM, and, the mother was only covering for the son, she’d done that in the past, and, because this fed to his own inability to take responsibilities for what he’d done, and because he KNOWS his mama will always be there, wiping HIS ass, and so, this is still going to be a vicious cycle, and the next criminal offense won’t be as simple as assault, it will escalate to MURDER, I’m sure!
