Finding the Original Heart for the Job Back

Getting burned out!  Translated…

When you’d worked for a very long time, accumulated a ton of knowledge from your profession, techniques, and experiences, but, do you still have that heart that you took, when you first started working?

My friend is a senior caretaker, she’d taken care of over a hundred elderly, her professional skills and experiences accumulated by the day.  At first, as the elderly she took care of passed away, she’d gone to their funerals, to see them off on their last passage of life.  But, as time goes by, she found herself, to not feel as sad, instead, felt that she’d become more mechanical, like a factory worker, and she’d slowly, lost the passions for this job that took care of people, in their final passages of life.

This made her worry, and she’d wanted to, try to find back the heart she had at the very start of when she’d started working.

When everyone started working at a job one wants to work in, at first, s/he would always have a ton of passion, and that heart from the beginning is from the expectations one holds of oneself, but, this heart from the beginning will get strained by the years or the negatives that comes with working the job.  Finding that heart from the very start, is the surest way, to keep one’s passions for work, and it’s also, a pillar of upholding that expectation of oneself.

When we feel tired, burned out by our jobs, we should turn our head back, to look, at that heart we had at the very start of working, and, maybe, we will be able to, find ways to change, as well as the motivations to create the change.

And so, this, is someone, becoming emotionally numbed out, because of the characteristics of the job she works at, and, if you’d worked for a very long time at your job, you are bound to get burned out, and, you may need to just, sit, and rest on that rock by the middle of the road, until you find that reason for you to go back to work again, and this, is a very hard to cope with thing.
