A Long-Awaited Happily Ever After…

This, is a VICIOUS cycle that I’m still, rolling in, and I can’t seem to, master my way out of it…

Addicted to the lies of your love, because they’d sounded, so sweet, like that poison you’d poured into my already going DEAF ears!  Addicted to the lies of your love, I just can’t understand, how something so wonderful as L-O-V-E, can have SUCH an adverse effect on my mind, soul, and my heart too.

Addicted to the lies of your love, well, like that fish that’s too hungry to know any better, I’d taken your bait, and now, I’m, hooked for L-I-F-E………

A Long-Awaited Happily Ever After

“Where, oh where, did that happily ever after that is, ENDOWED to me go???”, flipping through the pages of this book of deeds, she’d started wondering again.

She’d waited by her windows, looking up, each and every single night, at the moon, longing, for her prince to come and save her from her own device, and yet, every time she’d gazed downward, she couldn’t see, through the fog, accumulating, down below for some unknown reasons.

A long-awaited happily ever after, she’d stayed asleep for over a century now, and, frankly, she’s getting tired, of this never-ending slumber, and, she’s still dreaming of, that knight in shiny armor (well, HIS armors aren’t that shiny anymore that’s for certain!), that Prince Charming (who apparently got DEVOURED by her PET dragon???  Or didn’t SET HIS GPS straight and is still, wandering LOST in the forest!) to come and plant that one true love’s kiss on her lips, so she could wake up.

A long-awaited happily ever after, she’d decided, not to wait anymore, she’d looked around herself, and found, that there are, so many OTHER options, people she can kiss (like the Seven Dwarfs) whom she knew loved and respected her, and, the idea of a prince, waking her up from her glass coffin, well, that’s just, ILLOGICAL, plus, the glass coffin that the Seven Dwarfs made for her meant that she wasn’t supposed to stay DEAD (b/c glasses are shattered easily, which symbolized how death is NOT permanent???).

A long-awaited happily ever after?  But, why should she wait?  That’s not something she’d “mastered” yet, for she was never TAUGHT delayed gratification (look THAT up, why don’t ya!)…………
