Ran Her BMW into a Pole, She Wanted to Claim with Her Insurance, So, She’d Set Up an Insurance Fraud, with the Help of Her Friend

A woman drove her over two million dollar BMW, but she was careless, and bumped her car into the pole by the wall of the parking lots, in order to get the “Type C” insurance claims where it mandated that the claims are supposed to be made because of a car wreck with another car, she was suspected of having her friend, Lee head to the police, told the police that she’d hit Lee’s car first, then, backed her BMW into the pole in the parking lot.  But, the insurance company found that there was questions regarding the dent markings on both their cars, refused to pay, and filed a fraud and a falsifying legal document claim against both of them.

Hsu and Lee, as the district attorneys questioned them, told the truth and pleaded guilty.  The Hsinbei District Attorney’s Office believed, that neither had priors, and admitted to what they’d done, and that the insurance company hadn’t paid the claims yet, they’d delayed their prosecution for a year, during which time, both will pay the government $100,000N.T. each.

The D.A. investigated, found that last year on the evening of June 4^th, Hsu and her friend, Lee went out to eat, she drove to the underground garage of her building, she was on the phones, and was careless, and bumped into a pole.

Hsu’s insurance was Type C, based off of the insurance agreements, she could get up to over $900,000N.T.s, but the forefront was that it must be a “wreck caused by another car”.  In order to get the insurance claims, she’d gone to the police with Lee and told, that she’d hit the back of Lee’s car, then, hit the pole, and filed for the claims, falsely, attempted to defraud.

But, the insurance adjustor believed, that on the back of Lee’s bumper, the dent didn’t look like it was made recently, suspected that something wasn’t right, and, denied the claims.  The police asked Hsu to provide the camera footage, but Hsu kept stalling, as she was sent to the District Attorney’s Office of Hsinbei City, she’d finally admitted to fraud, with Lee.

So, this is still, a FAILED attempt to CHEAT the system, and look where it’d gotten them, and, had the friend not just gone along with his friend’s “calls”, he would’ve not gotten charged.
