Being an hourly worker, I’d wanted nothing else, my one and only motivation was, at around noon, when the store manager did inventories over the cakes, and, hollered out, “Ahhhh, this would expire by tomorrow, can you, Liu, help me out with it?”, naturally, I wouldn’t turn down the free foods, strawberry pies, original cheesecakes, brownies, and, napoleons too, they’re all, MY favorites, keep ‘em comin’ then! This, is the added perk, of working at a bakery!
And so, your primary motivation is NOT the money, you’re probably retired from your original job, with a pension, it’s for the sake of feeding to your love of sweets, and, this just shows, how you don’t have to stay at home after retirement, you can find something you can enjoy doing, like this woman did, she’s not only bringing in the extra incomes (which she probably doesn’t need???), and she also gets the added perks of taking home the desserts from the shop that’s not sold by the end of the day.
