Verbal Bullying, Sharpened Like a Sword, DO Remember, to Hold Your Tongues

Shedding light, on the suicide of the actress here, translated…

Yo-Ying Yang who was at the prime of her life, not too long ago, was cyberbullied, and verbally abused, she’d committed suicide, it’s truly sad!  Her final statement: Verbal bullying should be paid more attention to.  Because the media already became a model for the younger generations, a lot of the younger generations would cuss whenever they’d opened up their mouths to speak, and, not knowing, that they’d hurt someone.  Some had, fallen into a state of depression, because they were verbally bullied; and, there are others who’d become angered, and started crying endlessly, lost sleep, because of other people’s criticisms; and some had even developed persecutory delusions, or auditory hallucinations of someone cussing her/him out constantly.

In current day, everybody faces the pressures of being judged, and, those who face the greatest pressures are mostly presidents, heads of states, as well as the members of the government.  As the president, Ying-Jeou Ma coming under the trash talks of the online community had become the norm; by the same token, since Mayor Ke was elected, there are also, a TON of the citizens who’d given him bad comments, it’s a wonder, that his wife, Dr. Chen would speak on his behalf on how he’d talked positively on an issue, but, gained a ton of bad comments about his comments.

Toward other people’s comments, it is, necessary, that you try to introspect from it, but, if others are defaming and trash talking you, then, you shouldn’t care too much about what others say, “the brambles won’t hurt you, unless you decide, to lean against it”, and, stop the effects of other people’s negative comments about you.  Everybody should hold oneself in high regards, to see oneself more positively; find the good qualities that one has, increase one’s own self-concepts; positively, encourage oneself often.

When Carnegie was just nine, his father remarried, when his father told his new wife something bad about his own son, his stepmother smiled and said, “He’s the smartest boy, it’s just that he hadn’t found the right area, to show his intelligence”, and, because of her words, it’d established this unbreakable bond between Carnegie and his stepmother, it’d also become, the driving force of his career.

In the book, “How to Win Friends and Influence Others”, Carnegie mentioned on the weakness of human nature: wanting to be commended.  The words that encourages and affirms, are not only great lubricants in interpersonal interactions, it could also help others established their senses of the self, and drive them toward acting more positively.  The parents should find more good qualities in their young, and give them encouragements on it regularly, that way, as the child grows, s/he will learn to show gratitude and develop self-confidence.

When you point a finger at someone, three fingers are pointing, BACK at you.  And so, because words can have the powers of implications, you should regularly, hold your tongues, to avoid saying damaging things to others, respect oneself, as well as others, and, speak positively toward others, as well as oneself often.

And so, this just shows the power of words, and because, verbal bullying is not as serious as getting beaten up physically on the playgrounds, because the physical abuse, the scars shows on the outside, but the verbal and emotional abuses, the scars, are hidden, way too deeply on the inside, so, DO watch what you say to your young!

A Minor Cold of the Psyche, Couldn’t Even DARE Stare in the Eyes of Strangers, on Being Bullied
