The Men in Sweden Who Were Raped Now Has a Place to Get Their Emotional Difficulties Treated

Because things such as RAPE, still doesn’t DISCRIMINATE across the genders!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

The victims of rape aren’t necessarily always females, based off of the statistics of the government of Sweden, the police received 370 cases of rape, with men as the victims, and, there may be MORE cases that weren’t reported, recently, an emergency treatment unit that offers rape victims support and treatment, a hospital that runs around the clock especially stated, that they will be having clinics especially set up for men and boys who were raped.

In 1977, Sweden set up its first rape victim treatment center, with the professional doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, as well as social workers stationed there, to give emergency assistance to the victims, and those who’d come to the clinics were females, there were, almost NO male victims, because the male victims usually go to the emergency rooms of the regular hospitals.

Recently, a large-scale hospital in Stockholm, Sweden announced, that the emergency care center that they had set up especially for women for rape, starting in October, they will be accepting male and boy victims too.  This decision got the thumbs up for the Sweden Gender Education Foundation, the professionals pointed out, a lot of the males who were raped, they didn’t know where to turn to for assistance, that the foundation hopes, that in the future, the major hospitals would set up male-specialized care centers to offer assistance to male victims.

And so, this, is a great idea, not how men are being RAPED by women, but the belief of setting up a help center for male victims of rape, because just like everything ELSE, rape still doesn’t discriminate across gender, age, nationality, etc., etc., etc., etc., and, this, is a march toward TRUE gender equality!
