The verdict’s in! from the Newspapers, translated…
A man Chang, who was diagnosed with bipolar, last year, as he was about to be enlisted, and because the accident he was involved in, he couldn’t reach a settlement with the other person, was suspected of beating up his own mother, and murdered his own grandmother who tried to console with him, after the D.A. considered the case, they’d prosecuted him based off of murdering one’s next-of-kin, the first and second trials both believed, how Chang was having his relapse and murdered his own grandmother by accident, and he did cry and admitted what he’d done was wrong, and took the medication, to stabilize his own conditions, after the two reduced sentencing, he’d received, twelve years in prison, and after he’d served the time, he needed to be hospitalized for three years, and the highest courts tossed back the appeals yesterday.
Chang (age 24) started showing signs of bipolar when he was in high school, would often start a fight with his families, and, the Changgang Hospital in Keelung had diagnosed him as having adaptation problems combined with emotional issues.
Last June, Chang got into a wreck with someone, he had an unsuccessful talk about settlement with the other person, and, he had a relapse of his condition, he’d lost control, beaten up his own mother, and killed his own grandmother by accident.
The D.A. based off of the laws, and suggested the death sentence or life in prison for him. But in his first and second trials, the judge believed, that when Chang committed the crimes, he wasn’t of sane mind, so, he received a reduced sentence; and, because of his good attitude after he’d committed the crimes, he’d gotten another reduction on his sentencing.
And so, this, is the results of going off the meds without a doctor’s note, and, because of his bipolar tendencies, and his good attitude after he’d murdered his own grandmother, this man got a reduced sentence, but, what if, the next time he’d gotten angered, flew into a bipolar fit, without taking his meds regularly, who’s going to die then?
