Another day, passed, became, past tense…
As the light slowly faded, I’m still, busying about the house, tying up ALL the loose ends, and, as I’d tied up one loose end, the other loose end came undone, and, as I’d gone over to the other loose end, to tie it back up, the one that was tied up well originally, came undone, and so, I’d go to and fro, endlessly, and, apparently, my day is not about to end!
As the light slowly faded, I’m still lost in thought, as I gazed out my window, caught that last ray of the colorful dusk, I’d thought of you. You and I, we were, the best of pals, and, I’d gotten lost, in this love I’d felt for you from before, then, reality came a-knocking, and, I got, dragged BACK down, couldn’t have my head up in the clouds you know?
All of a sudden, I’m hit, by the harsh reality, of not having you around, and, it’d hit me, real hard too, I got PUNCHED, in the stomach, and started bleeding.
As the light slowly faded, I realize, that this, was nowhere NEAR the end, that it was, the preliminaries, of a brand new day, and, with you there, right beside me, I quickly, stopped, pondering, and, drifted, into dreams………
