The thirty-four year-old man, Lin, yesterday at the hour of midnight, was wasted, as he’d climbed the walls of his ex’s rental place, to try to get money from her, and after he’d discovered that she’d left with the three kids, Lin got angered and lit up the gas to kill himself, there were second degree burns on eighty-percent of Lin’s body, he was lifted to the N.T.U. Hospital for treatment. The patrol officer of the region said, that Lin had been recorded as being abusive, as he couldn’t find his ex-wife, he took his anger out on the properties of nearby residents, the police will charge him based off of public endangerment and violations against the laws to prevent domestic violence.
The police said, that Lin worked odds and ends, has the habits of drinking, and, every time he’d gotten drunk, he’d become violent. Four years ago, he’d started beating on his thirty-three year-old wife, Chen; and Chen had asked for restraining orders from the courts in the past two years multiple times, and Lin had been arrested, sent to jail, and he’d also served time for violating the restraining orders, but, he’d still gotten drunk, and out of habit, went to find his ex-wife to abuse her.
Last year, Chen finally couldn’t take it anymore, she took her two young, elementary school daughters, and her son, and divorced Lin. Chen had little money, worked part-time gigs, to make the living, Lin’s parents were also ashamed, for having a son like this, and, although Chen was divorced to their son, they’d still given her monetary assistance, and helped looked after the children. About three months ago, Chen left her original residence, move to Yuming Street in Sinchuang to rent.
But, every time after Lin got drunk and needed money, or needed to “relieve” himself, he’d went to find Chen. Last month, Lin broke into Chen’s place, forced her to have sex with him, with their five-year-old son watching, and used an electric fan, threw it at his own son, hurt him.
Yesterday early morning after Lin got drunk and needed some money, he’d rang his ex-wife’s doorbell, and nobody answered, he’d climbed the walls to the second floor where Chen lived with her kids, found that Chen had ran away along with her three kids, he got angered, lit up the gas cans, and hurt himself.
And so, you DO see how this violent man’s is going to keep on being violent, and, this still just shows you, how USELESS restraining orders toward an abusive ex is, and, thankfully, this woman got away with her three young children, and this man still got EXACTLY what he deserved!
