The Attractiveness of Children, on Child-Rearing

Translated…

At first, when we’d contemplated on whether or not to have children, it took longer, than to decide whether or not to marry.  For me, there’s only just ME to consider, in the matter of marriage, I’ll take responsibilities for whatever happens, but, having children is an entirely different matter, children are independent beings.

Although my husband and I both loved children, but, considering how bad the social realm’s getting, and how we don’t get enough pay, and we didn’t have the money, to send the kids to a better living environment, and so, we’d become chickened out about the matter of having children.  Until in recent years, seeing how the elders in our families are defeated by illnesses of old age, we’d felt the ever-changing spectrums of life, and started feeling expectant for the births of the new lives; and, both our parents gave us the encouragements, and, my son came to this world, with everybody’s hopes and dreams and expectations.

There’s an attractiveness in children, that can help you conquer ALL the difficulties in your lives.  Before we had children, my life is focused around work, and, in order to save my job, I didn’t mind working over time, without the pay.  But, after my son was born, in order to take care of him myself, I’d quit my job, and found part-time work options, and tried to find an alternative lifestyle for myself.

As for the hard-to-change greater environment, I’d started by working on myself, cared about the goings on of the world, or getting involved in movements and causes, the beautiful world needs everybody’s input.  Recalling how before I became a mom, my mother told me, who was unwilling and fearful of having kids, “Just have a child, don’t worry that much”.  And looking back, I did, worry, too much.

And so, this woman was fearful from before, because she didn’t want to bring a child into this unsteady and unstable world, but, as she saw how life passes by very fast, she’d come to realize, that she should have a child, and, after she had her son, she found a brand new perspective, having a child DOES change things, and, in this case, in a positive way!
