The case of murder of the sixth grade boy from Hsinchu, the D.A. yesterday as he was questioning the suspects, Lee and Chen, Lee admitted to using half a million dollars as bait, to lure Chen to help him strangle the sixth grader to death, said that because he was pressed by monetary difficulties, he’d wanted to die, “I feared losing him, that, was why I’d planned to take him with me!”
But the D.A. believed, that Lee’s claims still needed to be checked into some more; and, based off of Lee’s claims, the sixth grader, Lin had NO clue of Lee’s suicide plans, at the preliminary examinations, they’re ruling the child’s death as a murder, instead of a suicide pact, after they’d interrogated Chen and Lee, they were placed in police custody.
The Head D.A. from the Hsinchu’s district attorney’s office, Lin said, they’d interviewed the suspects separately, then, cross checked their statements, found that Lee’s statements are in accordance with the evidence, that Lin, the sixth grader didn’t know of Lee’s plan for suicide, that it wasn’t a suicide pact, they’d placed the two men BACK into police custody after interrogating them.
The Hsinchu’s District Attorney’s office manager, Lin said, that after they’d separated the two suspects, interrogated both of them, then, compared notes, they’d found, that Lee’s statements matched what they’d found in the evidence, and, coincides with Chen’s claims, he never extorted money from the family of the sixth grade boy, but, admitted to abetting Chen to murder the young boy, and now, the police can’t find alternative motives for murder.
The D.A. pointed out, that they will wait for the autopsy of the sixth grader, to make sure, that whether or not Lin was fed medication, and strangled to death, and, they also needed to make sure whether or not Lee had taken something, but, whether or not he had, he’d already admitted to abetting murder, it wouldn’t alter the outcomes of the case.
The D.A. pointed out, that because when they first interrogated Lee, he was out, and started ranting, there was no logic to what he was telling the police, and yesterday, when he was questioned again, he’d mentioned how in March and April, because of his financial problems, he’d wanted to commit suicide, and because he was very close with the sixth grader, he felt, that after they die, they can be together forever, and it wasn’t related to religion at all.
Lee said, he feared, that he’ll be separated with Lin after he’d died, so, he’d come up with the plans to take the child with him to die, but he couldn’t do it, that, was why he’d paid Chen half a million dollars, for him to kill the boy; but in actuality, he doesn’t have the money to pay Chen.
Lee also stated, that at the start of the year, he’d bought a piano, but because of his original rental space was too small, that, was why he’d taken out another apartment on the ninth floor, but, after he’d taken both apartments, he’d come into financial difficulties, that, was why he wanted to commit suicide.
As for why after the sixth grader was strangled to death, and Lee carried him from the ninth floor apartment to the fourth floor suite? Lee said, that he’d wanted to watch the child die in the quieter space, the fourth floor, and after he’d swallowed a ton of pills, he’d feared that it wouldn’t kill him, that, was why he’d used the smoking pesticides.
As the D.A. was holding the court case, they’d found, that Lee and Chen used different ways to think compared to those who are normal, and they couldn’t understand the events as normal people would.
And so, more than likely, these two MURDERER will NOT get the death penalty, by ways of insanity, and this, is still a crime of passion, because the man fell in love with the young boy, knew that they couldn’t be together in life, and so, he’d come up with murdering the sixth grader, so they could be together in death.
