A biracial man from South Africa, Pan is dark and strong, awhile ago, he rode in Shulin, and Taoyuan in the evenings, and robbed women who headed home late in the evening, and managed to get almost $7,000N.T.; afterwards, he’d found a place to hide in Wanhua, the patrol officers, while making the rounds found his motorcycle, they’d waited for him, and when Pan came back to get his motorcycle, they’d arrested him. He’d claimed, that he knocked a woman up, and, it was because he needed the money to buy the formulas for his child, that, was why he’d robbed, the police still booked him based off of robbery and theft, just the same.
The police found, that Pan (age 20), his father worked on a fishing boat in his early years, gone to South Africa, met his mother, and had him, he was taken back to Taiwan by his father to raise. Pan looked like a foreigner, but, spoke fluent Chinese, last year, he’d entered into the armed services, but he couldn’t adapt, and so, he’d deserted, and ducked out in Taoyuan, couldn’t find regular work, so, he’d worked odds and ends, awhile ago, his girlfriend gave birth to a son, and, he felt the economics getting heavier and heavier on him.
Three days ago, he first went to Gueishan to steal a motorcycle with the key still in the ignition, and changed the license plate registered to his father, to attempt to escape from being caught; he rode the stolen motorcycle to Shulin, and Taoyuan, and robbed women who were going home late in the evenings, managed to rob two women, and got an I-Pad, cell phones, and $7,000N.T. in cash. He didn’t dare go home, so he’d hidden in motel in the Wanhua District.
But, as he was stealing the motorcycle, someone took down the license plate, and reported it to the police, and he’d parked the stolen motorcycle in an alley in Wanhua, which the police discovered, and they’d believed, that he would come back to get the motorcycle, and, Pan showed up to get it, and, the police made an arrest.
The police said, because Pan’s skin was darker, and had natural curling hair, so it was easy for him to be recognized, and, after he’d stolen the motorcycle and committed the robberies, he was zoomed in by the police by his looks, although he’d denied having committed the crimes, but the police took out the surveillance footage, and his lies went bust.
So this time, the law did NOT take pity on this man’s situations, and, that still just shows, that you can’t do something bad, and not expect to get caught, and besides, how long do YOU think you can hide? Forever? Think again!
