So, money IS the “culprit” of this murder, huh???  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A nineteen-year-old man in Changhwa early yesterday morning killed himself by hanging, at his local elementary school, and the neighbors who exercised in the schools found him.  The police investigated, that Huang has priors in drunk driving, and had to pay for the fines, and pay for the damages, and they’re not ruling out that he’d killed himself because he’s having trouble, getting the money to pay for the fines and the damages he’d caused.

The investigative officers found, that Huang had worked odds and ends, didn’t have a stable source of income, last year, he’d committed theft, and, twice, he’d driven drunk, and had a collision with another driver.  In the end, the courts fined him $80,000N.T.s, and that he must pay the person he’d hit $60,000N.T.  Huang’s friends told, that the deceased had once mentioned to them that he had to take out a loan to pay for the fines, and, he’d been depressed recently, but wouldn’t go into detail on what he was going through with his friends.

Recently, Huang had also posted how he felt misunderstood on Facebook, and, even though his friends left the message, “Just tell us what’s going on”, “don’t ruminate on it on your own”.

Huang’s father told, that last year, because he drove drunk and was fined, and must pay for the damages of the car of the person he hit, he’d promised to pay for part of the money, and the fines was left up to his son to pay up, by installments, his son committed suicide, he felt “sad and disappointed”.

And so, we can deduct, from what’s been told, that what caused this person to commit suicide may have been how he felt he couldn’t pay up the money owed, and, there might be something that is also going on inside of him, that nobody knows, and, he just couldn’t see beyond the dark clouds that were shadowing over his life right now, and so, he chose an easier way out.
