We can use a ton of different numbers, to describe the riots in Baltimore: fifteen buildings set ablaze, one-hundred forty-four cars burned, twenty injured officers, along with over two hundred suspects who were arrested, among them, thirty-four adolescents; or, from the baseball games, the numbers attached to the events would equate to two extended games, three games out of the city, and over sixty million dollars N.T. of tickets, oh, and the five starting pitchers, not standing in order, plus the very FIRST close game, with NO audience of the history of the Major Leagues.
The cause of the events, I’m sure you’d already heard: a twenty-five year-old young man, in order to escape police check, in the process of the arrest, was seriously injured, and the officers at the scene had delayed sending him to the hospitals, causing him to die. Similar scripts had played on in Brown, Missouri, Garner in New York, and, people died, because of the excessive force used by the police, which caused serious riots in the communities. Not too long ago, the conversation topics at my workplace was Ferguson, Missouri, over a thousand kilometers away, or, Stanton Island in New York, three hundred kilometers away, and, it hard to imagine, that it’d spread too fast, to Baltimore, Maryland already.
And so, this, is still due to a group’s perception of how unfair the member of one’s own group was mistreated, and, there’s NO way to work this out, because there will ALWAYS be racial differences, and, people are ALWAYS going to feel that they’re being mistreated, or unfairly treated, and, people are now, acting up on those feelings, which makes this world, a HUGE mess!
