Last Year, France Had Passed an Amendment that Severely Punishes All Cases of Cyber-Bullying

Laws set up against cyberbullying, is it going to work???  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

Cyberbullying had become, a global phenomenon now.  The European Union is the forerunner to said NO to cyberbullying.  The European Union since 2004, set up the second Tuesday in February as Safer Internet Day, hoped to wake the public up, to instill MORE awareness to the issues.  The thought had gained world attention, including Taiwan too, more than a hundred nations in the world would hold the events on this day, to bring about knowledge on internet use safety.  The European Union also signed with seventeen social networking sites, to set up agreements, to prevent cyberbullying on time.

The Central News Agency reported, that based off of the survey of teenagers who used the Internet in European Union, there were about twelve percent of teenagers ages from eleven to sixteen who were victim of cyberbullying, and this had risen twice as high, compared to the results of the surveys done back in 2010.  The studies showed, that the youths who were once bullied, thirty-five percent had mutilated themselves, thirty-eight percent thought about suicide, and this showed, that cyberbullying is NOT an issue that can be ignored any longer.

The European Union setting up the “Safety Net Online” had set up stations of education, hotlines, to provide the children and adults with issues some consultations, and, the network also instructs the public on how to use the internet properly, to protect oneself, and set up the rules for internet usage.

Other than that, the European Union back in 2009, had included the signed agreements with Facebook, Twitter, Google/YouTube, Yahoo, MySpace, a total of seventeen social networking sites, to help protect the adolescents’ privacies, to protect the younger generations when they’re online, to put an end to the exacerbation of cyberbullying.

And, the world’s finally doing SOMETHING, to prevent this sort of SHIT from happening, and, by severely punishing the “offenders”, it may be a starting point, to put an end to cyberbullying, a step, in the RIGHT direction here!
