How the LOWER end is faring here, from the Newspaper pages, translated…
The Child Welfare Foundation yesterday posted the results from the survey done on the lower income households of 2015, forty percent of the families couldn’t make ends meet up, had sick family members, 6.5 percent surveyed had even lived off of the foods that had long expired, and, there was a family of eight, sharing a living space of no more than 20 cubic feet.
The sample was from the valid survey of 866 who’d filled out the questionnaire, from January 6th to February 17.
The statistic showed, that forty-five percent of low income households receive no more than $25,000N.T. a month, forty-two percent are having a hard time, making ends meet. Nearly forty percent surveyed lived in broken properties, thirty-four percent of the families couldn’t even have the basics of their living needs, the furniture, the quilts, and gas stove.
And, this would be, what’s going on, at the OTHER side of THIS white picket fence, and this, is really sad, and yet, what, do we do ‘bout it? Oh yeah, we read it, then, we casted it out of our minds, as we all got too much on our separate plates, that we can’t properly C-H-E-W!
