We may never know, what, made that kid who always behaved her/himself CRACK that day, and what, was the final straw. We may never know, how isolated the perpetrator felt, prior to the moments, leading up to her/him, OPEN fire on the masses.
We may never know, because we FAILED to pay enough attention, to that kid who never made trouble for nobody (and your point being???), who NEVER spoke up, who kept to her/himself at recess.
We may never know, because we NEVER took the time to know, to wonder, to ask that child, hey, is everything all right at home? And, even IF we noticed something was not quite right, we’re more than apt to, just, turn our eyes away, trying to ignore, ALL the signs, that are flashing themselves, in front of our eyes.
We may never know, how those kids who committed murders end up in jail, but, one thing’s for certain, it’s NOT just their families who are to be blamed, it’s everybody ELSE who saw something wrong, but, FAILED to show care and concern, or just simply, CHOSE to ignore…
We may never know, but, deep down, we all do, know, it’s just, that that hand that can lift someone up, always came, a little, too late, and, until everything bad today, became, yesterday’s news, and got forgotten about.
